John Talbot Chief Financial Officer B Bus (Acctg)

John Talbot has previously worked with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he was responsible for income tax planning, management and compliance. After his attendance at the Advanced Management Programme conducted by the International Institute for Management Development in Geneva he entered the Bank's senior management ranks in the Institutional Banking Division, which is responsible for the capital raising and banking needs of public companies, Government bodies and Funds Management entities. In the next 10 years he pioneered the Bank's involvement in the then emerging private infrastructure market through the establishment and his leadership of a new Infrastructure Project Finance group.

Since September 200 he has worked as a private consultant in the finance industry specialising in Corporate Finance activity and retains the Commonwealth Bank as one of his clients. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Certified Practising Accountant.
